Real Men Cook Sanitation Certification

To participate as a Cook at a Real Men Cook Event, you must attend a 3-hour Safe Food Handling Class and get a Food Handlers Card. However, you can cook with a team, but you must be registered. The fee is $35 to cook and $50 if you'd like to make a donation to Real Men Charities, Inc. for event expenses like aprons, bandanas and other items.

Real Men Cook has chosen the following dates for training at
The SafeDining Academy, located at 205 W. Randolph, Suite 810,
Chicago, IL 60601:


Wednesday, May 23rd from
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm,
or
Wednesday, May 30th from
6:30pm – 9:30 pm


If you are unable to make the dates above, classes will also be held on Monday, June 4th from
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
or Saturday, June 9th from
9:00 am – 12:00pm at the same location.

The 2011 Grammy Award Winning Jazz Saxaphonist Kirk Whalum is the headliner for Real Men Cook's 23rd Annual Father's Day celebration in Chicago. Kirk will perform live with songs from his new CD, Romance Language, for the crowd of thousands at the annual Real Men Cook event, Father's Day, June 17.
